Need a break from the pressures of school? Join the Dean of Students Office on Wednesdays and relax with the help of therapy dogs. Find comfort from man’s best friend.
The health benefits of dogs are well documented. From easing stress, lowering blood pressure, and helping with homesickness, therapy dogs can help bring a sense of calm and wellbeing. The UA Dean of Students Office offers free puppy love, Wednesdays in the Nugent Building, starting at 11:00 a.m. Therapy dogs are provided by volunteers from the Southern Arizona Humane Society and Pet Partners, who generously share their registered therapy dogs with students.
Scheduled upcoming Dog Days with the Dean are:
- September 20th
- October 4th
- October 18th
- November 8th
