Black History Month: Black Trans Revolutionaries

When:
5:30pm to 7:00pm
Description:

From the Cooper Donuts Riots in 1959, the Compton Cafeteria Riots in 1965 or the Stonewall Riots in 1969, trans and gender con-conforming people of color have been at the forefront of social justice movements. Join Organizer and Activist, Monica Jones, along with Academic and Orator, Lourdes Ashley Hunter (MPA), as they set the tone for a courageous conversation elevating the ways Black trans women are leading social justice movements that center around healing and restorative justice.
