The University of Arizona

Policies and Codes

Students contribute to the campus community in many ways, including through their academic progress, skills and achievements, and their success and growth. They also have an impact on the campus through their behavior. When students violate the Code of Academic Integrity or the Student Code of Conduct, they infringe upon what the community has defined as acceptable behavior. The Dean of Students Office enforces these codes as a way of instilling a strong sense of community, and in doing so, adopts an educational perspective.

All University of Arizona students should familiarize themselves with the UA codes, policies and procedures. The Dean of Students Office has developed this information to provide guidance for students attending UA. It includes information about policies, procedures, rights and responsibilities that should be followed by students.

Since the student codes, policies and procedures may be revised semester to semester, it is the responsibility of the student to view revisions.
