At the University of Arizona, safety is a top priority. However, even with the best laid plans, emergencies occur. The Dean of Students Office provides assistance and information when an emergency occurs and is available to help direct students, families, faculty and staff to available resources.
Student Advocate
Funded through the Student Fee, the Dean of Students Office has expanded their commitment to advocate for students. Emily Gaspar and Katherine Snyder, Coordinators of Student Advocacy and Assistance, are available to to help students who face complex issues and crises as well as helping students with topics ranging from roommate issues to class interactions. Wellness checks, information and referral services are also provided. If you or someone you know is in need of guidance, Emily Gaspar or Katherine Snyder, Coordinators of Student Advocacy and Assistance, are a great place to start.
