The Women’s Resource Center (WRC) is an inclusive on-campus student center which strives to create change on campus in response to sexism and misogyny, doing our work at the intersection of many identities such as sex, gender identity, gender expression, race, class, sexual orientation, ethnicity, and ability. The center is comprised of a community of diversely feminist individuals who work to enrich our communities through educational programming founded in an inclusion and diversity framework and by nurturing holistic individual growth through activism, events, post-classroom learning, and consciousness-raising engagement.
The WRC seeks candidates for the position of Coordinator of Feminist Engagement. The Coordinator will work closely with the Director of the WRC to run a robust and vibrant resource center. The Coordinator will serve as the primary staff person for several WRC programs, which aim to support feminist leaders by building skills and offering opportunities for personal growth and leadership development and help oversee services dedicated to supporting an inclusive, feminist environment which foster a sense of belonging for students from diverse backgrounds and identities. This position will provide the successful candidate with an opportunity to contribute to the larger University community’s educational experiences.
