The Adalberto and Ana Guerrero Student Center’s mission is to support students to achieve academic and personal excellence by shaping a safe and inclusive campus environment through culturally affirming programs and events that cultivate a sense of belonging, build community, encourage critical reflection, and develop students’ as learners, leaders, professionals and engaged citizens.

  • Come meet our Faculty Fellow, Dr. Melissa Fitch! Every Wednesday, 1p-5p, Chavez 211
    Faculty Fellows is a group of 45 outstanding UA faculty dedicated to student engagement. Faculty Fellows work to effectively involve students in research, collaborative projects, career-readiness efforts and community outreach. Each fellow works at building connections and relationships with students outside of the classroom.

  • Abuelitas(os) Reaching Out to Mentor y Apapachar Students (abuelitas means grandmothers) also known as AROMAS
    AROMAS provides an extended family at the UA that connects you to an ‘abuelita or abuelito’ and to their extensive professional network. They meet with students once a month to share their experiences, check in on your well-being and provide hugs and support through your successes and challenges at the UA. And they bring food!
