The application period for the 2024 Senior and Provost Awards has officially closed. The awards committee is currently reviewing applications and will make its final selection by the end of February. Information about the recipients will be released in early March. We would like to extend our appreciation to all the nominators and recommenders for their support.

Senior Awards
The Senior Awards are presented to six outstanding graduating seniors.  Candidates for these awards demonstrate scholastic ability, citizenship, leadership, and promise for the future.  These well-rounded individuals contribute through co-curricular and community activities and leadership.

Senior Awards:

  • Freeman Medals
  • Robie Medals
  • Nugent Award

Provost Award
The Provost Award is presented to an outstanding graduating senior who transferred to the University of Arizona with at least 36 transferable units from an Arizona community college. Criteria for the award include perseverance and commitment to academic studies, contributions to the UA community, and scholastic ability, citizenship, and leadership. The Office of the Provost provides this award.

The Senior and Provost Awards are presented at the Spring Commencement Ceremony.

The nomination period for the 2024 Senior and Provost Awards starts on Monday, January 8, 2024, and ends on Monday, January 22, 2024, at noon. Late nominations will not be considered.
