Workshops

The Dean of Students Office offers three educational sanction workshops.

Personal Responsibility Workshop

The Personal Responsibility educational sanction workshop, offered by the Dean of Students Office, is a two hour workshop which seeks to engage students about the decision making process. The workshop includes learning opportunities through personal reflection, journaling, group activities, assignments, and discussion.

Academic Integrity Workshop

The Academic Integrity Workshop is an educational sanction offered by the Dean of Students Office. This session provides students with an opportunity to explore general issues of integrity and ethical behavior, including a discussion of its short and long term consequences. All students who violate the University of Arizona Code of Academic Integrity are required to attend this workshop. The workshop is offered in person (two and one half hours) or online.

Plagiarism Awareness Workshop

The Writing Center at the THINK TANK, in collaboration with the Dean of Students Office, offers this workshop to all University of Arizona students interested in honing their research and writing skills to make sure their work meets the ethical standards of our institution and academic communities in general. The Plagiarism Awareness Workshop is offered in person (two and one-half hours) or online.
